elaborating further on "austrian beauty"

i have given some second thoughts to the last story.

actually there are two things which are irritating.

one is a purely aesthetic one: the landscape - though it was beautiful in the picture card sense - was ruined by these cute houses and perfecley mawed meadows i was mentioning last time. artifical objects cannot keep up with natural (here especially gigantic) scenery. they serve only as contary. thus a battle "cute detached house vs rock face" does not add up. your domicile - cute as it might be - will always disturb. maybe an ugly only would be more honest in that sense. why trying? it's hopeless anyways.

fuck garden gnomes, garden fountains, arranged flowers and floor mats à la "griasch di"!




the second irritation is connected to austrian conservatives.
so you are living in this lovely (usually not so) little house in the countryside. and everything around you is either cute or breath taking. and i was told that the priest is talking about the devil on sundays. krone will do the rest. is it naive to think that life must be quite simple then. "we live in a blessed country." das heilige land. tradition. traditionally (furnished living rooms). "that (asylum seekers)'s not my pigeon."






we need to see the ugly. not in the tausche-familie way. voyeurism won't prevent you from voting black-blue-orange.
