bavarian idyll

so maybe in order to attract a wider audience i should post in english.... regularly... since i usually don't care much about typing and grammar mistakes, i guess, there won't be much difference anyways.

last weekend the traditional workshop founded by julius wess in bayrischzell took place. as i have already mentioned - i guess - the community is rather small, so this was more like a family meeting to say it in lara's words.

poor carlos: you have missed a nice weekend - but i guess your defense on friday is a good excuse.
there's gonna be another meeting in october by the way. this time in zagreb, i think.

the workshop took place in a hotel/ gasthaus zur post....

the room, where usually weddings and plays are performed, was turned into our lecture hall. notice the blackboard. the last time i have seen such a blackboard was in grammar school, i guess.

during lunch break: hiking/ going for a walk

and later ...

so if you think that my life mainly consists of attending conferences, you are right. but it really helped to get a slightly better insight to the field i am working now. and that's of course very good.

what else... spring is fully around ... in very respect... and i really, really like that. and i seems that coming back to vienna was the perfectly right decission. within the upcoming days, my financial situation should clarified.

so if i am lucky (and at the moment i got a really good connection to luck ), my prayings have been answered.

moreover it seems that finally there are some pretty precise plans for my phd project, which i like a lot. pretty much field theoretical. very good.

all in all. life is good.
