looking out of my office's window, i saw snow + wind = hui today. winter keeps vienna.

d is fighting the depression that keeps crawling persistanly under my skin (which by the way is so fair that you can almost see through. i want sun.).

d is tired of feeling cold. tired of winter jackets. scarfs, gloves and all the other equipment you need everytime you step out of your house. i guess everybody is.

so much for global warming. global obviously has a very local meaning.

d went to the theater. "es geht uns gut"= we are doing alright. well, the book was great. well, the performance was a catastrophe. shitty bobo crappy theater. horrible dialogues. stupid stupid stupid. what to expect from a play whose tickets are printed on baby pink paper?

d read that josef fritzl was judged today. so, austria is now famous for the sound of music and basement dungeons. maybe this gives rise for a combined musical? or a different ending nowadays: the nazis get them:

sound of music 2: the trapp kids go underground.

to be honest i don't believe that kampusch and fritzl are a pure coincidence. sure, other countries have their atrocities, too. but here it seems to be the habit that you build a secret place for that first. such that you can do your business for quite some time without disturbance. you need to plan these things. you need to be really determined.
